Funlayo Alabi

Funlayo Alabi was born in Manchester, England and raised in Nigeria. She came to the United States as an international student to study international business. She received her undergraduate degree from Howard University and an MBA in Management from Regent University. Funlayo worked with the Zurich Insurance Group as a software developer and later with Carefirst Blue Cross Blue Shield. She and her husband started making shea butter products in 2005 for friends and family. They incorporated Shea Radiance in 2008, and in 2009 Funlayo transitioned into the role of president full time. She and her husband live in Ellicott City, Maryland with their two children.
