The Clean Cookstove Campaign: Impacting The Lives of 1000 Women Together

1000 Women. Infinite Possibilites.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving we're pleased to announce our new initiative: The 1000 Women Project, providing 1000 Women Shea Producers with clean cookstoves in Oyo State, Nigeria.

Inefficient cookstoves used for daily cooking and Shea Butter production expose Women Shea Producers to the harmful effects of smoke inhalation that cause cancer, emphysema, asthma, and cataracts. In partnership with Shea Origins, Shea Empowerment Foundation, Envirofit, USAID, and the Global Shea Alliance, our goal is to eradicate these risks in the lives of 1000 women through the Clean Cookstove Project.

Supplying clean cookstoves are one of the many ways of providing Women Shea Producers access to a healthier, self-sufficient life so that they can continue to support their families while producing the Shea Butter we know and love in our favorite beauty products.

We warmly invite you to join our efforts to make tangible change in the lives of 1000 Women.
