Our Lavender African Black Soap Bars are lovingly handcrafted by our sister-partner Francesca and her team of women in Accra, Ghana. This West African beauty staple is also known as Ose Dudu or Alata Samina. Used for centuries to cleanse, purify and brighten dull skin.
How It’s Made: Most commercial soaps are made with traditional lyethat strips your skin of its natural oils causing dryness and irritation. Our African Black Soaps are made with charcoal from roasted Cocoa Pods and Plantain Skins that are blended with Shea Butter and Coconut Oil to create a brown/black colored soap that heals and moisturizes sensitive to Eczema prone skin.
Benefits: Alleviates oily acne prone skin. Fades blemishes and brightens complexion naturally. Ideal for treating inflamed skin and redness.
Directions: Apply to wet hands, washcloth or loofah and create a gentle lather. Wash face, body or hair and rinse off thoroughly. Follow with Whipped Shea Butter for long-lasting moisture.
Ingredients: Charcoal (derived from Cocoa & Plantain Pods), Unrefined Shea Butter, CoconutOil, and Tea Tree Essential oils
No parabens, SLS, fragrance or dyes | Our raw ingredients are proudly sourced from women-run co-ops in Ghana and Nigeria.
