Shea Radiance is offering the latest Earth-friendly solution for dealing with those empty cosmetics jars—throw them on the compost heap. A package redesign has transitioned the company’s previous PET jar into a custom-printed EcoPak™.

The EcoPak contains no plastic, glass, or metal. The container is made from 80% post-consumer pulp and is fully compostable or recyclable after use. A special interior liner helps insulate the product from the paperboard. “We wanted packaging that was consistent with the natural, sustainable, and renewable nature of the product,” says Shea Radiance cofounder Funlayo Alabi. “It had to be beautiful, functional, and biodegradable. EcoPak was the perfect solution.”
